Supermicro IoT SuperServer 222HE-FTN

The Supermicro IoT SuperServer 222HE-FTN is a 2U short-depth system supporting 6x rear hot-swap SFF NVMe, SAS, or SATA drive bays with optional configurations for 2x or 4x additional front hot-swap SFF NVMe drive bays. Under the hood, there are 2x internal M.2 PCIe 5.0 x2 NVMe slots for 2280 or 22110 form factor cards. At the heart of the server there are dual Intel Xeon 6 6700 series processor with E-cores delivering up to 144 cores and 144 threads and a maximum TDP of up to 330W. Up to 2TB of RDIMM DDR5 memory, distributed across 32x DDR5 DIMM slots, can be installed in this server when fully loaded.

The 22.6” depth system can be air cooled by 6x counter-rotating fans, or liquid cooled by an optional Direct to Chip (D2C) cold plate. Powered by 2x 1200W, 1300W, or 2000W Redundant (1 + 1) Titanium Level (96%) hot-plug power supplies, the 2U SuperServer 222HE-FTN supports up to 3x double-width or 4x single-width GPUs with a PCIe 5.0 x16 CPU-to-GPU interconnect. Apart from the expansion slots that accommodate these GPUs, there are 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slots that support OCP 3.0 mezzanine cards. The system can also be outfitted with up to 4x CXL 2.0 x16/x8 devices. There can be up to eight PCIe slots on the server, depending on configuration:

For management, administrators have access to several management utilities including; SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro Think-Agent Service (TAS), Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA). This system is suitable for cloud computing, software-defined storage, virtualization, and 5G core and edge.

*This server can only be sold as a completely assembled system with a minimum of 2x CPUs, 2x DIMMs, 1x NIC, and 1x storage device such as HDD, HDS, and M.2. A NIC can either be an AIOM or PCIe card.
