Supermicro IoT SuperServer 222HE-TN front

The SuperServer 222HE-TN is built for virtualization, 5G core and edge, cloud computing, and more. The front panel holds up to 6x hot-swap 2.5" NVMe, SAS, or SATA drive bays, plus the option to install up to 4x hot-swap 2.5" NVMe drive bays on the rear. To boot the operating system, there are 2x M.2 PCIe 5.0 x2 NVMe slots on the system board with support for 2280, 22110, or 25110 form factor cards.

The system can be configured with 3x double-width or 4x single-width GPUs with a PCIe 5.0 x16 CPU-to-GPU interconnect. The 22.6” short-depth system is powered by 2x 1200W, 1300W, or 2000W Redundant (1 + 1) Titanium Level (96%) PSUs. The server can provide up to 8x PCIe slots depending on the installed risers.

In addition, there are 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slots that are compatible with OCP 3.0, plus support for up to 4x CXL 2.0 x16/x8 devices. The rear I/O panel holds 1x VGA port, 2x USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, and a dedicated BMC LAN port. Software like SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro Think-Agent Service (TAS), Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA) can be utilized to manage the platform.
