Supermicro MainStream SuperServer 221P-C9R

The Supermicro MainStream SuperServer 221P-C9R is compatible with up to 2x 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Each CPU socket is connected to 8x DIMM slots for a total of 16x slots on the system board. 16x 2.5-inch hot-swappable drive bays on the front of the system support SAS and SATA drive types. Expanding the capabilities of this system are achieved via 4x PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slots and a single PCIe 5.0 x8 low-profile slot available on the rear of the system.

Additional Features

Offering a great deal of flexibility, the Supermicro MainStream 221P-C9R is designed for virtualization applications, enterprise server deployment, application and data serving, and compute intensive tasks. Outfitted with 2x 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors it can provide a maximum memory capacity of 4TB across 16x DIMM slots. 2x M.2 slots available on the system board are a great option for fast access storage needs or OS installation. There are also 2x 2.5-inch drive bays on the back of the system.

To connect the 221P-C9R to your network infrastructure there are dual RJ-45 LAN ports on the rear of the system, plus a dedicated IPMI GbE management port. 5x PCIe 5.0 slots provide options for additional NICs or storage controllers. The system is powered by dual redundant 1200W Titanium grade power supply units.
