Supermicro MicroCloud A+ Server 3015MR-H5TNR - System Overview
On the front of each node, the MicroCloud 3015MR-H5TNR includes 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHFL double-width slot suitable for a double-wide or single-wide PCIe GPU. GPUs supported include the NVIDIA L40, L40S, L4, A16, A2, or A10 GPUs. The system is also compatible with the AMD Instinct MI210. In addition, the system has 1x PCIe 5.0 x4 MicroLP slot for a network card. Depending on the configuration it can also support 1x PCIe 5.0 x8 LP slot. Inside each node are 2x internal fixed 2.5” PCIe 5.0 NVMe drive bays, 2x optional internal fixed 2.5” SATA drive bays, and 1x M.2 NVMe slot for a 2280 or 22110 form factor card.
Management tools include SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro SuperDoctor 5 (SD5), and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA), among others. SAA is a software that makes it easier for IT admins to manage systems, from a single server to an entire data center. It simplifies tasks like setting up, configuring, and updating systems. Instead of using many separate tools, SAA combines everything into one, making it perfect for smoothly integrating software and automating tasks. The Supermicro 3015MR-H5TNR is powered by 4x 2000W Redundant (3 + 1) Titanium Level (96%) power supplies and cooling is handled by 5x heavy duty, hot-swap 8cm fans located on the rear of the chassis.
