Each of the 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors support 16x DDR5 DIMM slots for 128x total slots and a maximum memory capacity of up to 32TB. System expansion on the Supermicro 681E-TR is achieved through 12x PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height, full-length slots, and 12x PCIe x16 full-height, full-length optional slots, and 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile internal optional slots.

Build in a 6U chassis, the Supermicro MP 681E-TR is designed for Virtualization, Scale-up HPC, In-Memory Database applications, and Research Lab/National Lab tasks. NVMe SSD support requires a virtual RAID on CPU key providing RAID of 0, 1, 5, or 10. 2x internal SATA/NVMe M.2 drives are also supported internally. The system can be outfitted with up to 12x double-width GPU/Accelerator cards. It is powered by 6x 2600W Titanium Level power supplies in a redundant configuration.
NOTE: This system is only sold as a complete system with at least 8 CPUs, 64 DIMMs, and 1 storage device (HDD/SSD/NVMe/M.2).
