Additional InformationThe Supermicro 827V7-1N fits up to 10x independent compute nodes housed within a single 8U enclosure. Each node supports 2x AMD EPYC 9006 Series processors with up to 256 cores and 512 virtual threads per processor. There are 32x DDR5 DIMM slots between the 2x sockets capable of delivering up to 8TB of memory. RDIMMs operate at speeds of up to 8000MT/s, while Multiplexed Rank DIMM (MRDIMM) modules support speeds of up to 12800MT/s. Storage options include either 4x hot-swappable E1.S NVMe SSDs or 2x hot-swappable U.2 NVMe SSDs, along with 2x internal M.2 NVMe drives with optional RAID for boot storage.
For expansion, each node provides up to 3x PCIe Gen6 x16 slots, including support for FHHL, HHHL, and AIOM (OCP 3.0) adapters. The enclosure utilizes shared redundant 3000W Titanium-level power supplies with up to 96% efficiency to help maximize uptime while reducing power consumption across all nodes. The system is managed through the ASPEED AST2700 BMC and includes Hardware Root of Trust and TPM 2.0 for secure remote administration. It is available with either air-cooled or liquid-cooled configurations, providing deployment flexibility for a wide range of modern data center environments.
