Supermicro Storage SuperServer 121E-NES24R

The dual-socket Supermicro Storage SuperServer 121E-NES24R server supports up to 8TB of DDR5 memory, 24x E1.S SSDs and 9.5mm or 15mm drive slots, and 4th or 5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, all in a 1U form factor. With 24x hot-swappable NVMe storage bays, 2x OCP slots, and PCIe 5.0 x16 expansion slots, the server is made for hyperscalers and other users who need enormous scale and density. The server also has two redundant 2000W power supplies.

Designed for software-defined storage, in-memory computing, private and hybrid cloud, and NVMe over Fabrics solution, the Supermicro 121E-NES24R server has a lot to offer. When all 32x DIMM slots are filled with 256GB DDR5 memory modules, the system offers up to 8TB of RAM with maximum memory speeds of up to 5600MHz. Aside from the drive bays on the front panel, the system supports 2x PCIe 3.0 NVMe or SATA3 M.2 slots under the hood for 2280 and 22110 cards. Additionally, this machine has a variety of I/O ports for connectivity and management, including 2x OCP PCIe 5.0 x16 slots for NICs, 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and a single RJ45 port. The dedicated IPMI LAN port enables remote server management and monitoring. The server also has a single serial COM port on the rear of the chassis that enables easy interface with other systems.
