Accessible from the top of the system, there are 60x 3.5-inch hot-swappable SATA3/SAS3 drive bays. 3x PCIe 4.0 x8 slots and 2x PCIe 4.0 x16 slots are found on the rear of the system. Redundant 1600W Titanium 80 Plus level power supplies power the system.
A single 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable provides compute for this system. The hardware configuration on this system supports CPUs with a Thermal Design Point (TDP) up to 270W. This TDP means that CPUs with up to 38x physical and 76x virtual threads are compatible.

An Intel Ethernet controller X550 provides 2x 10GbE BaseT ports in back, which can connect this system to the rest of your IT infrastructure.
Supermicro provides a suite of software management options right out of the box. Watch Dog and SuperDoctor 5 are proprietary software management tools which grants access to remote management, as well management at the chassis. In addition, the system is Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0 compliant, with Supermicro Update Manager SUM, and NMI providing additional management utilities.
