Equipped with a Broadcom S3916 SAS hardware RAID card, the system is perfect for corporate databases, appliance-optimized storage, and similar applications. Powered by dual Intel Xeon Scalable 5th or 4th generation processors, the 621E-ACR12H supports CPUs with a maximum TDP of 270W when air-cooled. The system provides up to 16x memory slots, capable of supporting 256GB ECC DDR5 RDIMMs and offering a total of 4TB of memory. With 1-DIMM-per-channel, memory speeds can reach 5600MT/s. For expansion, the rear of the server provides 4x PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slots plus 2x PCIe 5.0 x8 low-profile slots. It also includes 2x M.2 PCIe 4.0 x2 NVMe slots on the motherboard, compatible with 2280 and 22110 form-factor cards. Power is delivered through dual 1200W redundant Titanium-level power supplies.

The intended use of Supermicro SuperDoctor 5 (SD5) is to track and enhance Supermicro server performance. It provides managers with real-time hardware and OS health tracking, alerting them to any problems and system status. Both web-based and command-line interfaces are available for SD5, offering flexibility for varying management preferences.
