Delivering dual-socket performance in a 2U chassis, the Supermicro Storage SuperServer 621E-ACR16L has 12x 3.5” SAS/SATA front drive bays, 4x 3.5” SAS/SATA internal bays, and 2x 2.5” SATA rear bays. All of these storage options are hot-swappable, including the optional 6x 2.5” NVMe hybrid drive bays on the front of the system. The system also offers 2x internal M.2 NVMe slots for 2280 and 22110 form factors cards. The Intel-based system supports 2x 4th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (future support for 5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs) with a TDP ranging from 120W to 270W. When both CPUs are installed, up to 4TB of memory can be accommodated.

Ideal as an enterprise server, corporate database, iSCSI SAN, and more, the Supermicro 621E-ACR16L has tons to offer. To enable networking and storage options, the system provides 2x PCIe 5.0 x8 low-profile slots and 4x PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slots that can be accessed through the rear of the chassis. Maximum memory capacity is achieved when all 16x DIMM slots are populated with 256GB DDR5 RDIMMs. Management software such as IPMI 2.0, SuperDoctor 5, and Redfish API, among others, can be deployed to control the system both locally and remotely. Four heavy duty 8cm fans are supported by the 1600W redundant Titanium level power supplies.
