The half-height Supermicro 411E-1G accommodates up to 2TB of DDR5 RDIMM/3DS RDIMM memory when all 8x memory module slots are populated. Memory speeds will differ depending on the CPU, memory modules, and configuration. A 4th Gen CPU offers up to 4800 MT/s, while a 5th Gen CPU delivers speeds of up to 5600 MT/s. Under the hood of each SuperBlade 411E-1G server node there are 2x M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 slots for 2280 or 22100 form factor cards, but an optional mezzanine card can support 4x more. Two low profile PCIe Gen5 x16 cards or one double-width card can be installed with a PCIe 5.0 x16 CPU-to-GPU interconnect including the NVIDIA H100, L40S, L40, A100, or A10 GPUs.
The 411E-1G is supported in various 8U SuperBlade Enclosures. The enclosure provides the networking, management, power, and cooling for up to 20x half-height server nodes, up to 10x full-height server nodes or up to 10x half-height, double-width blades. Depending on the enclosure, it can offer 1x, 2x or 4x high-speed InfiniBand or Omni-Path Architecture (OPA) networking modules offering speeds of up to 100G. Some of the supported enclosures offer a single Chassis Management Modules (CMM) and others, 2x for redundancy. Chassis-wide management of the installed server nodes is though the CMM.
