Built for enterprise data centers, electronic design automation (EDA), cloud computing, and high-performance applications, the SuperBlade 422B-5NE14 supports dual 25G ethernet ports and an OCP 3.0 PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slot, compatible with InfiniBand 100G EDR, 200G HDR, and 400G NDR. Each CPU socket supports 8x DDR5 Registered DIMMs (RDIMMs) or 3DS RDIMMs delivering speeds of up to 6400 MT/s. Multiplexed Rank DIMMs or MRDIMMs are also supported and offer memory speeds of up to 8000MT/s. The Supermicro 422B-5NE14 can be deployed in a range of 6U or 8U enclosures.

The enclosures are designed to help lower costs by providing the power, cooling, networking, and centralized management in a high-density form factor. 10x half-height, dual-socket servers, such as the 422B-5NE14 can provide up to 20 CPUs and 2,880 processing E-cores in 8U, making it ideal for scale out in an enterprise data center. The enclosures also support optional liquid cooling, ensuring optimal performance under extreme load. Management from a central location also helps to reduce wiring complexity and the need for additional switches. With an integrated Aspeed AST2600 management module, the system is compatible with IPMI 2.0 and Redfish API standards and also offers KVM over IP.
