With a single DIMM per Channel (1DPC), memory can run at speeds of up to 6400 MT/s. Fully populated with memory modules in a 2DPC configuration will reduce emmory speed to 5200MT/s. Ideal for enterprise applications, engineering and scientific research, plus virtualization and financial workloads, the SuperBlade 612B-1C2N can support either 1x double-width or 2x single-width GPUs. GPUs are loaded into 2x PCIe Gen5 x16 slots. The front panel features 2x hot-swap 2.5" U.2 NVMe/SAS3 drive bays that support RAID 0 & 1, and are managed by a Broadcom 3108 controller. Additionally, there is 1x M.2 slot for an NVMe or SATA drive, compatible with both 2280 and 22110 form factors.

The Supermicro 612B-1C2N offers onboard dual 25G Ethernet option, along with support for standard InfiniBand or GbE PCIe cards. This flexible system can be used with a range of 6U or 8U enclosures.

Supermicro SuperBlade 612B-1C2N node

A single or redundant Chassis Management Module (CMM) supported by the enclosure provides centralized management of installed hot-swap server blades. In addition, the enclosure provides the power, cooling and network interface controllers (NICs), which requires less wiring and a reduced need for complex network switches. Up to 10x of these 612B-1C2N server nodes can be installed in a 6U Enclosure.
