Built for enterprise applications, high-performance computing, virtualization and more, the SuperBlade 612B-1NE34 can be outfitted with up to 1x double-width or 2x single-width GPUs using 2x PCIe Gen5 x16 slots. The front of the node holds 4x hot-swap E3.S NVMe drive bays with RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 support with the addition of a premium Virtual RAID on CPU or VROC key. An NVMe M.2 slot on the system board is compatible with 2280 form factor drives and can be used for additional storage or to support the OS or a hypervisor.
For networking, the Supermicro 612B-1NE34 supports a connector for a NIC mezzanine card towards the rear of the blade. Power, cooling, and networking, and management are handled at the enclosure level with compute, GPU acceleration, memory, and storage hosted by the server blade.
