The Intel Xeon 6700 and 6500-series CPUs offer 8-channel memory architecture. At full capacity, with 2x DIMMs per Channel (2DPC) the system can provide up to 4TB of memory. With 1x DIMM per channel memory speeds of up to 6400MT/s can be achieved but with 2DPC memory speeds are reduced to 5200MT/s second or even less depending on the choice of CPU and memory modules. On the front of the 23.5-inch blade there are 4x hot-swap E3.S NVMe drive bays which can be configured to RAID 0, 1, 5, or 10 with an optional Virtual RAID on CPU (VROC) key. Similarly, the SuperBlade 612B-5NE34 has 1x M.2 NVMe slot on the system board compatible with 2280 form factor cards.

Up to 5x Supermicro 612B-5NE34 nodes can be installed into various enclosures for up to 35 servers per 42U rack. In addition to the 2x PCIe Gen5 x16 slots for the GPUs, and aside from the existing dual-port 25G Ethernet (LOM) port, there is a mezzanine expansion option for dual 25GbE networking ports. The SuperBlade enclosures provide the power, cooling, network communications, and management. There are 1x or 2x Chassis Management Modules (CMMs) on the back of the chassis that are used to manage all server nodes in the enclosure. The CMMs are IPMI 2.0 and Redfish API compatible and offer KVM support.
*This node can only be purchased as a complete system and should include at least 1x CPU, 1x DIMM, and 1x HDD/SSD.
