Housed in the SuperBlade Enclosure SBE-610J2, the Supermicro SuperBlade 612BA-5NE34 is equipped with 12x DDR5 DIMM slots and can support up to 3TB of Registered DIMMs (RDIMM) or up to 1.5TB of DDR5 Multiplexed Rank DIMMs, aka MRDIMMs. Each node is powered by a single Intel Xeon 6900 series processor with P-Cores, supporting a TDP of up to 500W with liquid cooling. Up to 7x, 6U SuperBlade enclosures can be loaded into a 42U rack, with 5x 612BA-5NE34 server sleds per enclosure.
Supermicro SuperBlade 612BA-5NE34 - System Overview
RDIMMs offer speeds of up to 6400 MT/s, while MRDIMMs can reach up to 8800 MT/s. On the front of each SuperBlade 612BA-5NE34 erver node there are 4x hot-swap E3.S NVMe SSD drive bays, and a small control panel. For more storage, or to boot the operating system, the blade holds 2x M.2 NVMe SSDs on the motherboard. It features 2x PCIe Gen5 x16 slot and supports 1x FHFL DW PCIe GPU card or 2x SW PCIe GPUs. The SuperBlade supports dual onboard 25G ethernet ports which are easily accessible on the rear.
Designed for enterprise applications, high-performance computing, cloud, virtualization and more, the SuperBlade enclosure has 8x large fans for on the back of the chassis for cooling. Also located at the back of chassis, are 1x or 2x management modules plus up to 4x Switch modules. A dedicated management port on the back of the management module allows for remote access of the system and is IPMI 2.0 compliant. Powering the system are up to 8x hot-pluggable 2200/3000W AC PSUs.
