The Supermicro SuperBlade 621E-1C3N has 2x CPU sockets compatible with 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable and Xeon CPU Max series CPUs. Each socket supports 16x DDR5 DIMM slots for a total of 32x DIMM slots compatible with ECC RDIMMs and Intel Optane Persistent Memory (PMem) 300 series modules. There are 2x hot-swap U.2 NVMe/SAS/SATA drive bays on the front of the blade and a single hot-swap SAS drive bay. Dual 25GbE ethernet ports on the rear of the Supermicro 621E-1C3N can connect this server to the rest of your IT infrastructure.
Housed in one of Supermicro’s SuperBlade Enclosures, the Supermicro 621E-1C3N server node is for enterprise applications, as well as Cloud Computing, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosures provide the management, networking, cooling, and power capabilities for the installed SuperBlades like the 621E-1C3N. On the front of the blade, there are 2x hot-swap U.2 NVMe/SAS/SATA drive bays and 1x hot-swap SAS drive bay. A connection to a networking module is provided by the enclosure as well, and supports dual 25G Ethernet ports with the option to add two more 25GbE Ethernet ports via mezzanine card in the server node. The system can also be configured with a liquid cooling solution.
