Engineered for enterprise data centers, cloud infrastructure, and virtual desktop infrastructure, the Supermicro 621E-1NE38 delivers exceptional performance and scalability. Powered by dual 4th or 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors, or the Intel Xeon CPU Max Series, this blade runs on the Intel C741 chipset. Each CPU supports up to 28 cores and 56 threads, with a maximum TDP of 205W under air cooling at 27°C. The system supports up to 8TB of DDR5 memory across 32x DIMM slots using RDIMMs or 3DS RDIMMs. Memory speed varies by processor and configuration:

This server node is specifically designed for a 6U enclosure, which provides the management, networking, power, and cooling. The chassis can support up to 10x 1- or 2-socket single-width servers, up to 5x full-heigh, double-width 1- or 2-socket servers. It requires at least 1x Chassis Management Module (CMM) but can be outfitted with 2x for redundancy. Up to 4x hot-pluggable 25G/10G/1G Ethernet switches can be installed for network communications. Powering the chassis are up to 8x hot-pluggable 2200/3000W AC power supply units (PSUs).
Management of the system is accomplished using SuperDoctor 5 (SD5) and several other utilities including IPMI 2.0, KVM over IP, and Redfish API, among others. The CMM on the back of the chassis allows for remote management of all server nodes.
