Each CPU socket can support 12x DIMM slots for a total of 24x DIMMs on the system board. Fully configured, each server node has a maximum memory capacity of 768GB when 32GB Very Low Profile (VLP) DDR4 memory modules are installed. 3x hybrid 2.5-inch drive bays provide storage. SuperBlade server enclosures offer the highest density, multi-node servers for enterprise cloud, and HPC applications.

The Supermicro 6429P-T3N server node can be outfitted with dual 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors. Compatible CPUs have a thermal design point (TDP) of up to 205W, plus up to 28 physical cores and 56x virtual threads using Intel’s Hyper-Threading technology. This system is ideal for high-performance workloads as well as for use as an enterprise server for virtualized workloads.
The front 3x 2.5-inch drive bays are compatible with hot-pluggable NVMe or SATA3 drives. The SATA3 drives operate at 6Gb/s and are supported by the Intel C622 chipset and offering RAID levels of 0, 1, and 5.
Each CPU socket on the Supermicro 6429P-T3N supports 12x DIMM slots for at total of 24x DIMM slots on the system board. Dual The Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 614E family automatically connects to the I/O modules through the midplane to provide 2x 10GbE switches. 1x or 2x I/O modules can be installed on the enclosure providing 10 or 1 GbE connection speeds. A single Chassis Management Module (CMM) for server management tasks is supported on the back of the 614E enclosure, and is used to access each of the 14x server nodes hosed in the enclosure.
To manage the Supermicro, the SBE 614E features a single Chassis Management Module (CMM) granting access to the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) in each SuperBlade server node. The Aspeed AST2500 BMC is compatible with the Integrated Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0.
With computational power provided by dual 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors, the Supermicro SuperBlade 6429P-T3N server offers hybrid storage and high-density. Up to 14x of the servers can be installed on to the SBE 614E enclosure family for up to 196 CPUs in a fully outfitted 42U enclosure. Each server node can also support up to 768GB of memory for support of high-performance computing applications.
