Supporting two 4th generation AMD EPYC 9004 series CPUs, including those with AMD 3D V-Cache technology, the Supermicro Hyper A+ 2025HS-TNR server provides up to 6TB of DDR5 memory in 24x DIMM slots when 512GB modules are installed. With dual CPUs, the system can provide up to 256 cores and 512 threads. 12x 3.5" hot-swap drive bays up front are compatible with NVMe/SATA/SAS storage options. Under hood there are 2x NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen3 x2 slots for 2280 or 22110 cards, which can only be used as a boot drive.
In addition to software-defined storage and corporate server functionality, this platform is intended for virtualization, AI inference, and machine learning. Along with 2x onboard PCIe 3.0 x4 slots for NVMe M.2 drives, the 12-bay Supermicro 2025HS-TNR server supports up to 8x optional PCIe 5.0 slots.
