The 2U Supermicro SuperStorage 2029P-ACR24H is a 24-bay system supporting SAS and SATA drive bays on the front panel. There are two additional 2.5" SATA hot-swap drive bays on the back, plus 2x optional onboard NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 M slots supporting 2260, 2280, and 22110 cards on the Super X11DPH-T motherboard. This platform features first- or second-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors* with up to 28 cores each. The system also supports up to 4TB of 3DS ECC DDR4 RAM operating at up to 2933MHz and a maximum of 4x Intel Optane DCPMMs.
Designed for database processing and storage, iSCSI SAN, and high-performance computing, the Supermicro 2029P-ACR24H supports 3x Broadcom 3108 controllers which can be mounted into the 7x low-profile add-on cards. It’s counterpart, the Supermicro 2029P-ACR24L, supports 3x Broadcom 3008 add-on cards (AOC). Dual 10GBase-T LAN ports with Intel X722 + PHY Intel X557 can be used as network controllers to proactively protect business data. Two redundant, hot-plug 1200W power supplies can be found on the rear of the chassis and can be switched out while the system is running, if needed. Administrators can choose from a several management options including SuperDoctor5, which functions in a command-line or web-based interface for Windows and Linux operating systems and tracks CPU temperature, voltages, power usage, and fan speed.
