Optimized for corporate databases, high-performance computing, iSCSI SAN, and more, the Supermicro SuperStorage 2029P-ACR24L supports a dual-socket designed to hold 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 28 cores each*. Additionally, the system offers support for 16x DIMMs with up to 4TB of 3DS ECC DDR4 RAM running at rates of up to 2933MHz. Up to 4x Intel Optane DCPMMs can be installed.
24x hot-swap 2.5" drive bays are supported on the front panel of the Supermicro 2029P-ACR24L chassis. On the rear, there are 2x more 2.5” SATA hot-swap drive bays. 2x optional onboard NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 slots can support cards in the 2260, 2280, and 22110 form factors. PCIe expansion slots on the motherboard can fit up to 7x low-profile add-on cards. This 2U system offers a variety of management options, such as SuperDoctor5, Intel Node Manager, and Watchdog. In case a software program hangs, the latter can reset the system. It is powered by 2x redundant, hot-plug 1200W power supplies. The power modules are hot-swappable, enabling them to be replaced without powering down the system.
