Featuring a single 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable CPU, the Supermicro UP SuperServer 511E-WR is a 1U entry GPU server. The single CPU socket supports 8x DDR5 DIMM slots, which when fully configured holds up to 2TB of memory. The front of the system houses 4x 3.5-inch SATA/SAS drive bays. Expanding the capabilities of the Supermicro 511E-WR are 2x PCIe5.0 x16 full-height, full-length slots and a single PCIe 5.0 x8 low-profile slot on the rear.

This platform is designed for Virtualization, Cloud Computing, Data Center Optimized applications, Value IaaS, and as an Entry GPU server. Support of SAS drive formats requires the addition of a SAS controller card on the Supermicro UP 511E-WR server. A x2 PCIE 3.0 slot on the system board can be used to support an NVMe M.2 drive. This system is powered by dual 800W/860W Titanium Level power supplies in a redundant configuration.
