On the front of the Supermicro UP SuperServer 521C-NR, there are 12x 3.5-inch SATA/SAS including 2x PCIe 5.0 NVMe drive bays. Compute is provided by a single 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processor with a TDP of up to 350W. The CPU socket supports 16x DDR5 DIMM slots, which can hold up to 4TB of memory. The system features either 4x or 6x PCIe 5.0 slots depending on a choice of risers, plus a dedicated PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for an optional AIOM NIC (OCP 3.0) card.

The Supermicro UP 521C-NR is ideal for Cloud Computing, Network Appliance tasks, AI Inferencing, Machine Learning Training, and Data Center Optimized applications. It is powered by dual 1200W or 1000W Titanium Level power supplies in a redundant configuration. Riser expansion options on the Supermicro UP SuperServer 521C-NR include 4x PCIe x8 full-height, full-length slots and 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height, half-length slots, or 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height, full-length slots plus 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height, half-length slots. There are two PCIe 3.0 slots on the system board for support of NVMe M.2 drives (2280, 22110). The system can also support up to 2x GPUs.
NOTE: This is only sold as a completely assembled system with a minimum of 1x CPU, 2X DIMMs, 1x storage device HDD, HDS (not including M.2), and 1x expansion slot/AIOM (Advanced I/O Module) NIC.
