The Supermicro UP SuperServer 521E-WR is a 2U entry GPU server with a single 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor. The system houses 8x DDR5 DIMM slots, and when fully configured supports a maximum of up to 2TB of memory. Available on the front of the system, there are 8x 3.5-inch NVMe/SATA/SAS drive bays. Expanding the capabilities of the Supermicro 521E-WR, are 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height, full-length slots and 2 x PCIe 5.0 x8 low-profile slots on the rear.

Featuring a single 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor, the Supermicro UP 521E-WR is designed for Data Center Optimized applications, Database/Storage needs, Network Appliance tasks, and use as an entry level GPU server. In addition to an optional drive cage in back with 2x hot swap SATAIII bays, there is a single PCIe 3.0 x2 slot on the system board that can be used to support an M.2 drive. It is powered by dual 920W Titanium Level power supplies in a redundant configuration and 2x embedded GbE ports in back provide basic network communications.
NOTE: This system is only sold as a complete system with at least 1 CPUs, 1 DIMM, and 1 storage device (HDD/SSD/NVMe not including an M.2).
