Offering a high-speed bandwidth interconnect for synchronization and high-availability, each controller also has access to low-latency NVMe drives. Up to 512GB of DRAM (dynamic random-access memory) can be accessed on each controller when all memory module slots are populated with 64GB DIMMs. The rear of the TrueNAS F100 features up to 6x 40/100 GbE optical NICs and 2x 10G Base-T ports. It offers a typical power draw of 800W, meanwhile the maximum power draw can reach 1152W. 5 + 1 redundant fans are used to cool the system.
The compact machine supports file, block, and object protocols and provides OpenZFS data management capabilities. One IPMI Out-of-Band port is used for system management and there's also a WebUI port available. All TrueNAS systems come with the TrueNAS SCALE 23.10 operating system preloaded and can be monitored and managed as a fleet using TrueCommand. This enables administrators to get real-time data, collect predictive analytics to maximize uptime, and control the chassis locally or from the cloud.
