IX Systems TrueNAS M30 Storage appliance provides an all-inclusive platform for S3-compliant object, unified file, and block storage. The system has options for both Hybrid or all NVMe storage. Hybrid provides a mix of SAS and NVMe for a maximum capacity of up to 500TB physical capacity or up to 1PB using typical data reduction through compression and deduplication. All Flash is another option, delivering a maximum capacity of up to 367TB and a maximum effective capacity of 1.8PB using typical data reduction algorithms. Power is dependent on the number of controllers installed with 1x controller requiring 450W and dual controllers 600W.
Each controller supports up to 64GB of NVDIMM memory for low-latency and an optional 16GB SAS SSD write cache. Optional fibre channel provides 2x ports with connection speeds of up to 16GB/s with Ethernet support of 10/25/40. Built on the Open ZFS file system, TrueNAS Enterprise offers integrated data protection with copy-on-write and data integrity checks to prevent corruption. It offers advanced compression, caching, and thin/thick provisioning optimizing storage for maximum efficiency. Intelligent Storage Optimization provides typical data reduction ratios of greater than 2.5x. Clusters created using TrueNAS Enterprise combined with TrueNAS SCALE enables even higher storage density and performance.
