Four memory module slots on the system provide up to 32GB of DDR4 ECC memory and can be upgraded to 64GB. The motherboard includes 2x 10Gbase-T RJ45 ports but also offers an upgrade option for a dual 10G SFP+ NIC, which can be installed using the PCIe 3.0 x4 slot. Capable of supporting up to 105TB of raw storage, while consuming only 111W of power, the Mini X+ features 2x 10G Base-T networking ports and 1x dedicated RJ45 IPMI remote management port for remote administration.
The 13-pound system is equipped with the self-healing ZFS filesystem, ensuring strong data protection. TrueNAS supports a wide range of cloud storage providers for sync, archive or backup, including Amazon, Azure, Google Cloud, BackBlaze, and Dropbox. It also offers data replication between systems and integration with iX-Storj Globally Distributed Storage. A notable feature is its enclosure management, which allows you to monitor drive status through a user-friendly web interface, making it easy to identify any failed drives.
