MiTAC Alpine R2520G6 R2520G635XD Server
The MiTAC R2520G6 R2520G635XD is engineered for demanding applications such as AI, VDI, and enterprise databases. As a 2U, dual-socket server it supports Intel Xeon 6 processors with TDPs of up to 350W. The system features 32x DDR5 DIMM slots arranged across 8x memory channels per CPU. It supports up to 8TB of RDIMM or 3DS RDIMM memory at speeds of up to 6400MT/s with 1DPC or 5200MT/s with 2DPC. When paired with P-core variants of the Intel Xeon 6 processor, the platform also supports MRDIMMs, enabling memory speeds of up to 8000MT/s.
For storage, the front of the chassis accommodates up to 12 hot-swap 3.5-inch SATA/SAS HDD bays, plus 2x onboard NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4 slots for 2280 and 22110 form factor cards. The MiTAC R2520G635XD supports up to 5x PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, including one HH/HL with a x8 link and 4x full-height, half-length (FHHL) slots. Two PCIe Gen5 x16 OCP 3.0 mezzanine slots located near the rear expansion area further enhance connectivity.
For system management, this machine includes integrated IPMI for remote monitoring and control, accessible via a dedicated Realtek RTL8211FD management port. Power is delivered through dual 2000W hot-swap 80 Plus Titanium redundant power supplies for high efficiency and reliability.
