The MiTAC R1520G6 R1520G6U2XD Cloud Server is a high-density 1U platform designed to support dual Intel Xeon 6 6700-series processors with E-cores, as well as Intel Xeon 6700/6500-series processors with P-cores. The front panel features 10x 2.5” hot-swap NVMe U.2 SSD bays. Power is delivered through dual redundant power supply units in a 1+1 configuration.

Along with the upfront memory, 2x M.2 PCIe Gen4 slots on the system board are compatible with 2280 and 22110 form factor SSDs. A total of 32x memory module slots with an 8-channel memory architecture are supported on the MiTAC R1520G6 R1520G6U2XD. Up to 8TB of DDR5 memory is delivered with RDIMM/3DS RDIMMs. Depending on configuration memory can run at speeds of 6400 MT/s (1DPC) or 5200MT/s (2DPC). Multiplexed Rank DIMMs or MCDIMMs are also supported and offer speeds of up to 8000MT/s (1DPC) but can only be used with P Core CPUs. Under the hood, the platform features 1x PCIe Gen 5 x16 (HH/HL), 1x PCIe Gen 5 x16 slot (FH/HL), and 2x PCIe Gen 5 x16 OCP 3.0 mezzanine slots. PSU options include 1300W, 2000W, 2700W, and 3200W redundant configurations to meet varying power requirements, each rated for 80 PLUS Titanium efficiency.
System monitoring and management are enabled both locally and remotely via the integrated Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI), powered by the onboard ASPEED AST2600 baseboard management controller (BMC). This allows administrators to efficiently monitor system health, performance metrics, and operational status from virtually any location, ensuring robust remote management capabilities.
