MiTAC R2513G6 R2513G6HYBD-2V Storage Server - System Overview
Supporting up to 2TB of memory across 8x DDR5 RDIMM slots, the R2513G6HYBD-2V is designed for cloud environments, big data analytics, archiving, media streaming, cloud storage, and virtualization. Using Registered or 3DS Registered DIMMs (RDIMMs) provide speeds up to 6400 MT/s. Multiplexed Rank DIMMs (MRDIMMs) are supported using CPUs with performance cores or P-cores can reach speeds of up to 8000 MT/s. Expansion capabilities scale with the CPU SKU, offering either 3x PCIe Gen 5 x16 slots with a Non-R1S CPU or 4x PCIe Gen 5 x16 slots with an R1S CPU. MCIO connectivity includes 1x MCIO 8x connector (Non-R1S) or up to 3x MCIO 8x connectors (R1S). One PCIe Gen 5 x16 slot is occupied by a Broadcom 9560-16i storage controller in both configurations.
Networking is handled through 2x 1GbE ports (one shared with IPMI) and 2x 25GbE ports powered by the Broadcom BCM57502. System management is provided by the onboard ASPEED AST2600 BMC with IPMI 2.0 support, enabling monitoring of system health, firmware, and operating status. The server is equipped with (1+1) redundant 1300W power supplies rated at 80 PLUS Titanium efficiency, ensuring continuous uptime for mission-critical operations.
