MiTAC R2513G6 R2513G6HYBD Storage Server - System Overview
At full capacity, the R2513G6 R2513G6HYBD supports up to 2TB of memory across 8x DDR5 RDIMM slots. The system supports memory speeds of up to 6400 MT/s using DDR5 Registered or 3DS Registered DIMMs (RDIMMs). Also supported are DDR5 Multiplexed Rank DIMMs or MRDIMMs, which can provide faster memory speeds of up to 8000 MT/s. MRDIMMs are only supported with Intel Xeon 6 series processors with P-cores. Expansion capabilities vary by CPU SKU, with either 3x PCIe Gen 5 x16 slots for Non-R1S CPUs or 4x PCIe Gen 5 x16 slots for R1S CPUs. MCIO connectivity includes 1x MCIO 8x connector (Non-R1S) or up to 3x MCIO 8x connectors (R1S), while one PCIe Gen 5 x16 slot is occupied by a Broadcom 9560-16i storage controller in both configurations.
Networking is provided via 2x 1GbE ports (shared with IPMI). System management is handled through the onboard ASPEED AST2600 BMC with IPMI 2.0 support to monitor system health, firmware, and operating status. To ensure continuous uptime for mission-critical operations, the server is equipped with (1+1) redundant 1300W power supplies rated at 80 PLUS Titanium efficiency.
