The MiTAC Alpine R2520G6 R2520G6U2XD server is a 24-bay hybrid system with support for NVMe U.2, SATA 6Gb/s, and SAS 24Gb/s setups. The high-performance computing server features dual sockets for Intel Xeon 6 processors with a TDP of up to 350W. Power is delivered by dual redundant 2000W hot-swap power supplies featuring 80 Plus Platinum level efficiency.

The 2U MiTAC R2520G6 R2520G6U2XD server supports a total of 32x DIMM slots with 8x memory channels per CPU for up to 8TB of memory. Standard RDIMMs and 3DS RDIMMs can be installed running at speeds of up to 6400MT/s, meanwhile MRDIMMs can reach 8000MT/s but only when P-core processors are installed. The system offers 5x PCIe slots and 2x OCP mezzanine card slots for expansion. Using the 2x full-height, full-length slots, the system can be outfitted with up to 2x double-wide GPUs.

Administrators can deploy the integrated Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) to manage the MiTAC R2520G6U2XD, which allows remote monitoring and control of the system’s hardware. IPMI can be accessed through a dedicated Realtek RTL8211FD-CG port. An optional the DC-SCM v2.0 module can extend the server’s management features with more granular control and enhanced monitoring tools.
