The front of the Tyan B7129F83AV14E8HR-N-HE GPU Server offers several storage options for SAS at 12Gb/s, SATA at 6Gb/s, and NVMe U.2 configurations. There are 12x 3.5-inch hot-swappable SATA or SAS HDD/SSD drive bays lining the bottom half of the chassis. Just above those drive bays there are 10x 2.5-inch hot-swappable storage bays. Those bays feature 8x NVMe U.2 SFF drive bays plus 2x SATA bays. For RAID, the system can be outfitted with a Graid Technologies storage controller for SSDs. Under the hood, the motherboard supports 1x PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 slot and the PCIe I/O board supports 1x PCIe 4.0 x1 M.2 slot. Both slots support 2280 form factor cards.

The system supports up to 32x DDR4 memory modules across 8x memory channels per CPU for up to 2x DIMMs per Channel (2DPC). compatible with RDIMM, LRDIMM, 3DS RDIMM, and 3DS LRDIMM configurations at speeds ranging from 2400 to 3200 MHz. RDIMMs support up to 4TB of memory, while LRDIMMs, 3DS LRDIMMs, and 3DS RDIMMs support up to 8TB. The rear panel includes a dedicated 1 GbE IPMI management port and 3+1 redundant 3000W or 6000W 80 Plus Titanium power supplies. Management is through the dedicated IPMI 2.0 compliant management port on the back of the system, which provides access to the onboard Aspeed AST2600 baseboard management controller.
