The 4U Tyan FT83AB7129 B7129F83AV8E4HR-N-HE GPU Server supports 10x double wide GPUs in PCIe 4.0 x16 slots. There are 12x 3.5-inch storage bays for SATA and SAS configurations lining the front of the chassis. The 4U platform also gives the option to deploy 4x of these drive bays with NVMe U.2 hot-swap drives. In addition to the storage bays on the front panel, there are 2x NVMe M.2 slots for 2280 form factor cards on the motherboard.

Featuring dual 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with a maximum TDP of 270W, the Tyan FT83AB7129 B7129F83AV8E4HR-N-HE GPU Server supports 32x DDR4 memory modules with 8x channel memory architecture per CPU. It is compatible with RDIMMs, LRDIMMs, 3DS RDIMMs, and 3DS LRDIMMs with speeds ranging from 2400 MHz to 3200MHz. RDIMMs support up to 4TB, meanwhile LRDIMMs, 3DS LRDIMMs, and 3DS RDIMMs support up to 8TB with 2x DIMM per Channel (2DPC). Along with the 10x PCIe slots for the GPUs, the server includes 3x PCIe 4.0 x16 slots and 1x PCIe Gen4 x16 OCP 3.0 mezzanine card slot with a pull tab. For RAID, the system can be outfitted with a Graid Technologies storage controller. The rear of the chassis supports 1x GbE port dedicated for IPMI and 3+1 redundant 3000W 80 plus Titanium level power supplies.
