The 1U Tyan GC68CB8056 B8056G68CE12HR-2T-TU-HE Cloud Server is powered by a single 9004 or 9005 series AMD EPYC processor with a TDP of up to 400W. With 12x memory channels provided by the CPU, It supports 24x memory module slots, and up to 6TB of memory with 1x DIMM per Channel. but memory speeds depend on the CPU series installed. This system is designed for versatile data center cloud applications, private, public and hybrid cloud, plus AI and Machine Learning, Big Data And Analytics.
Featuring a hybrid backplane, the Tyan B8056G68CE12HR-2T-TU-HE offers 12x 2.5" hot-swap U.2 NVMe, drive bays. To boot the server, Supermicro has equipped this platform with 2x M.2 PCIe Gen 4 slots on the motherboard for 22110 or 2280 cards. For basic network communications, there are 2x 10GbE RJ45 ports on the back. For additional flexible PCIe expansion options, the system features 2x riser cards: 1x FH/HL PCIe Gen 5 x16 slot (left) and 1x FH/HL PCIe Gen 5 x16 slot (right). A single PCIe Gen 5 x16 OCP 3.0 mezzanine slot is also available.
The GC68CB8056 B8056G68CE12HR-2T-TU-HE server is easy to manage with its integrated AST2600 Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), which supports both IPMI 2.0 and Redfish standards. A dedicated RJ45 GbE port on the rear of the system enables remote management, allowing administrators to monitor hardware status, temperature, and overall system health. This helps ensure smooth operation and minimizes the risk of downtime. Power is supplied by dual redundant 860W hot-swap 80 PLUS Titanium power supplies located on the rear of the chassis.
