Tyan Thunder CX GC68AB7136 B7136G68AV4E8HR Server

Delivering up to 2TB of memory in a 1U chassis, the Tyan Thunder CX GC68AB7136 B7136G68AV4E8HR Server features dual 4th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. It has 12x SATA/SAS 2.5-inch storage bays in front. Drive bays support 4x SATA and 8x NVMe U.2 drive formats. SATA drives are supported natively but thanks to the hybrid backplane SAS drives can be installed with the addition of a SAS HBA/RAID controller card. For expansion options there are 2 full-height, half-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, plus a x16 mezzanine card slot for an OCP 3.0 card.

Tyan Thunder CX GC68AB7136 B7136G68AV4E8HR Server - System Overview

Two x4 PCIe 5.0 slots on the system board of the Tyan B7136G68AV4E8HR Server are for NVMe M.2 drives that can be used to support the OS. A single management port on the back provides for remote management of the system but there are no integrated ethernet ports and users will have to rely on the expansion slot and OCP 3.0 mezzanine card for network communications. As a mainstream cloud appliance, this platform offers reliability, power efficiency, and scalability to meet your needs now and into the future.
