It has 12x SATA/SAS 2.5-inch storage bays in front. Drive bays support 4x SATA and 8x NVMe U.2 drive formats. SATA drives are supported natively but thanks to the hybrid backplane SAS drives can be installed with the addition of a SAS HBA/RAID controller card. For expansion options there are 2 full-height, half-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, plus a x16 mezzanine card slot for an OCP 3.0 card.
