The 2U Tyan Thunder CX TS70AB7136 B7136T70AV12E8HR-2T server features 16x DDR5 DIMM slots, 5x PCIe 5.0 slots, 1x OCP v3.0 LAN mezzanine slot, and 2x NVMe M.2 ports. The dual-socket platform is a warm storage server powered by 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 60 cores each and a maximum TDP of up to 350W. With 8x memory channels per CPU, the system can accommodate up to 2TB DDR5 RAM with speeds of up to 4800MHz.

A total of 20x drive bays can be configured on the B7136T70AV12E8HR-2T server. The front panel holds 8x NVMe U.2 bays with light blue tabs and 10x 2.5” SATA/SAS drive bays with dark blue tabs, meanwhile the rear supports an additional 2x 2.5” SATA SSD drive bays. Dual redundant 1000W or 1200W PLUS Platinum power supply units (PSU) can be accessed through the rear, as well as 2x 10GbE ports and 1x GbE port dedicated for IPMI. There are also two slots on the system board that can be used to install 2x NVMe M.2 storage devices. This system can be managed by the Onboard Aspeed AST2600 chipset.
