Compatible with Intel’s 1st and 2nd generation Xeon scalable processors, there is also generous storage on this system with 12 large form-factor drive bays on the front of the chassis. In addition to the GPU expansion slots, Tyan’s pre-installed risers support LAN mezzanine cards for added networking capabilities. The riser card introduces 2x 10 GbE ports. The front and back of the system have 2x USB 3.0 ports each, for a total of 4 on the system.
Management of the server is provided through the onboard AST2500 chipset which uses the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI). The LEDs on the front of the system provide information for temperature levels and if a fan or a PSU has failed.
