With 24x memory module slots and both processors installed, at full capacity, the Tyan TN85B8261 B8261T85E24HR-2T Barebones Server can be outfitted with up to 6TB of DDR5 Registered DIMMs (RDIMMs). This particular platform is not compatible with GPUs, although, there are two other models in the TN85B8261 family that can be outfitted with up to 4x double-wide GPUs and include the B8261T85E8HR-2T-N, and B8261T85E8HR-2T-N-HE. This platform is powered by dual, redundant 2700W 80 PLUS Platinum PSUs.

The system supports 4x PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, which can be outfitted with a number of options including NICs and storage controllers or HBAs. To manage the platform, the system features an onboard Aspeed AST2600 baseboard management controller module on the system board. It offers an iKVM feature and is IPMI 2.0 compliant. Also compatible with this system is Tyan’s TSM+ 2.0 management software, which also uses the dedicated RJ45 management port on the back of the system. It allows Administrators to monitor, manage, analyze, and receive reports through a user-friendly browser interface.
