The Tyan Transport SX TS70B8056 B8056T70V8E6HR-HE Server is a 2U single-socket storage system designed for data applications, offering hybrid NVMe, SAS, and SATA drive bay configurations. The front of the chassis features a total of 12x hot-swap 3.5" SATA 6G trays, with 4x supporting NVMe U.2 configurations. The rear panel offers 2x hot-swap NVMe U.2 trays. Additionally, there are 2x NVMe M.2 slots on the motherboard for 22110 or 2280 form factor cards. This server supports AMD EPYC 9004 and 9005 series processors with a maximum TDP of 400W and up to 160 cores.

The platform includes 3x PCIe slots via 2x pre-installed riser cards including 1x M7136T70-R24-2F riser card for 2x FH/HL PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and 1x M7136T70-L28-1F riser card for 1x FH/HL PCIe 5.0 x8 slot. For expanded networking capabilities, a single PCIe 5.0 x16 OCP 3.0 mezzanine slot is accessible through the rear of the chassis.
