Powered by 1x AMD EPYC 9005 or 9004 series processor with a maximum TDP of 400W, the Tyan B8056T70AE26HR-2T-2HE-TU Storage Server delivers up to 6TB of memory via 12-channel memory architecture per CPU when all 24x memory module slots are occupied. Depending on the installed CPU series and memory configuration, memory speeds can range from 3600MT/s to 5200MT/s.

There are 2x M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x2 slots for 22110 or 2280 cards that can be used for more storage or to boot the operating system. The system also offers a pre-installed riser card for 1x PCIe Gen5 x8 slot, and 1x PCIe Gen5 x16 OCP 3.0 mezzanine slot. To power the system, there are dual redundant 1+1 1600W 80 Plus Titanium level PSUs. Administrators can access the integrated Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) to remotely manage and control the machine. This method can monitor thermal conditions and hardware health to keep the system running efficiently.
