Designed for demanding computational workloads, the Lenovo ThinkCentre neo Ultra can be used for video editing, coding, and general multi-taking in a business environment. It also offers an NPU for AI assisted capabilities. The unit is easy to upgrade with a removeable aluminum cover, which provides access to the CPU, memory and storage. Chose from 6x 14th generation Core i5, i7, and i9 processors offering a combination of performance or P-cores and efficiency cores or E-cores. Processors range from 14 to 24 cores and up to 32 threads. With 2-memory channel architecture and 2x memory module slots for non-ECC DDR5 memory modules, each memory module sits in its own memory channel for optimal performance. Memory speeds of up to 5600 MT/s is supported.
In total the system is capable of powering up to 8x monitors simultaneously using a combination the integrated graphics and optional GPU. The CPU feature Intel’s UHD Graphics 770 for integrated monitor support with a DisplayPort 1.4a and an HDMI port on the back of the system. Two punch panels on the back provide the option to install two more DisplayPorts, HDMI ports or VGA ports for support of 2x monitors. For more complex graphic rendering, the ThinkCentre neo Ultra supports an optional NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The GPU offers 3x DisplayPort 1.4a ports and an HDMI 2.1 port, and can support up to 4x monitors. Ports located on the front of the system include a USB-C port, offering 20Gb/s data transfer rates and a USB-A ports offering 10Gb/s with a perpetually on port. He 2nd punch panel can also be outfitted with a 2.5GB RJ45 port for a wired network connection.
With that NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ada GPU, the Lenovo neo Ultra can also be used for gaming activities. It can also deliver up to 40Tera Operations Per Second or TOPS. The optional NPU supports Intel’s AI-powered CoPilot. However, in the future Lenovo will be providing an updated software suite called AI Now to provide additional functionality. The system is powered by a 350W power supply unit (PSU) and is compatible with Windows 11 Pro and Home versions. It features integrated WiFi and Bluetooth functions, plus a headphone/microphone jack and integrated 2W speaker.
