Designed for High-Performance Computing, Cloud Computing tasks, and Enterprise Data Centers, the Supermicro SuperBlade 421E-1T3N supports 2x 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Each socket has 8x DDR5 DIMM slots for a total of 16x slots on the system board, and are compatible with Registered DIMMS (RDIMM), and 3Ds RDIMMs. . The Supermicro 421E-1T3N houses 3x hot-swap U.2 NVMe/SATA drive bays on the front, an NVMe M.2 drive on the motherboard and can house 4x more M.2 drives via PCIe mezzanine card.
Connecting this system to your IT infrastructure, are 2x 25GbE ethernet ports provided through the enclosure switches, plus an optional OCP 3.0 on the front of the node. An option to add two more 25G Ethernet ports is provided with the installations of another mezzanine card in the server node to connect to an optional enclosure Ethernet Switch. This system is ideal for high-performance computing, cloud computing, and data center applications with 3x hot-swap drive bays available on the front and a single M.2 drive slot on the system board. System management, cooling, and power are all provided by the enclosure. The system also supports optional liquid cooling with a Direct to Chip (DTC) Cold Plate. The Supermicro 421E-1T3N is compatible with many different Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosures.
NOTE: This system is only sold as a complete system and should include at least 1 CPU, 1 DIMM, and 1 HDD/SSD.
