The Supermicro SuperBlade 421E-5T3N is a dual socket blade server compatible with 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors and Intel Xeon CPU Max Series. Each CPU socket supports 8x DDR5 Registered DIMM (RDIMM) or 3DS RDIMM slots. On the front of the blade, there are 2x hot-swap U.2 NVMe/SATA3 drive bays as well as a single hot-swap SATA3 drive bay. For fast access storage the system board supports a single M.2 drive slot with the option to install 4x more M.2 drives via PCIe mezzanine card. Dual 25G Ethernet (LOM) ports connect this system to the rest of your IT infrastructure through the SuperBlade Enclosure Ethernet Switch.
Designed for enterprise data centers, high-performance computing, and cloud computing applications, the Supermicro 421E-5T3N is compatible with a host of different Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosures. There are 16x DDR5 DIMM slots on the system board along with a M.2 drive slot. On the front of the blade, there is an option to install and OCP network card supporting up to 400G with an NDR InfiniBand mezzanine card. Network connections are provided at the enclosure level with Ethernet switch modules providing 2x 25G Ethernet ports. It is also possible to add two more ports via the mezzanine expansion slot. System management is handled by the enclosure alongside power and cooling.
NOTE: This system is only sold as a complete system and should include at least 1 CPU, 1 DIMM, and 1 HDD/SSD.
