The Dell EMC PowerEdge T560 tower server supports dual 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors in a 4.5U form factor. With up to 32 cores per CPU and optional Intel QuickAssist Technology, the system holds a maximum of up to 1TB memory. Each CPU supports 8x DDR5 memory module slots for 16x slots total operating at speeds of up to 4800MT/s. Several storage configurations are available on the front of the tower including, 12x 3.5-inch drives or 24x 2.5-inch drive bays. The bays allow for a mix of HDD, SAS4 SSD, and NVMe support. Under the hood, an optional internal Boot Optimized Storage Subsystem (BOSS-N1) device can provide 2x M.2 NVMe SSD drives in a redundant RAID.
Up to 6x full-height PCIe slots with Gen4 and Gen5 capabilities are available on the system board. A choice of either 2x 300W double-wide or 6x 75W single-wide GPUs can be installed. The system also supports additional slots such as 1x OCP 3.0 x8 card and 2x 1GbE LOM on Planar.
