The Tyan Transport HX TS75AB8252 B8252T75AV18E8HR-8X-2T Server is a High-Performance Computing (HPC) and General-Purpose GPU (GPGPU) 2U system with a total of 26x drive bays on the front, including up to 8x NVMe drives. The dual CPU sockets are compatible with 2nd or 3rd generation AMD EPYC processors. Each socket supports 16x DIMM slots providing a total of 32 DIMM slots on this server.
A total of two AMD EPYC processors can be installed on the 2U Tyan Transport HX TS75AB8252 B8252T75AV18E8HR-8X-2T Server. The new 3rd generation EPYCs are compatible with this system as well as the previous, 2nd generation EPYCs, and offer more than a 21% increase in performance. Each socket supports 16 DIMM slots, with a total of 32 DIMMs for the whole system. With two 10GbE ports on the rear, the system offers fast I/O options to support a variety of workloads.

Two 2nd or 3rd Generation AMD EPYC can be installed on this system with a maximum Thermal Design Power (TDP) wattage of 240W. The installed processors support 8 channels per CPU for a total of 16 DIMM slots per processor and 32 total. Power is provided by 1 + 1 redundant 1,600W 80-plus platinum rated power supplies.
A fully configured Tyan TS75AB8252 B8252T75AV18E8HR-8X-2T Server can have 32 DIMM slots populated with memory modules. Registered and Load Reduced DIMMs are both supported on this system. The maximum memory capacity is 8TB when RDIMMs are installed. Each processor has 8 channels which support 16 DIMM slots.
There is a lot of expansion potential on this system with up to 9x PCIe Gen4.0 x8 slots provided by Tyan’s pre-installed riser cards. The Tyan B8252T75AV18E8HR-8X-2T Server also has a designated PCIe Gen4 x16 OCP v3.0 Lan mezzanine slot for additional LAN ports at speeds of up to 100GbE. Two 10GbE and a dedicated 1GbE for IPMI ports on the rear grant a direct connection to your company’s server infrastructure. There is also a total of 4x USB 3.1 ports divided equally between the front and back of the server for direct access. Supported GPUs include the Nvidia T4, RTX6000 and RTX8000 cards using optional riser cards.
To manage the system a dedicated Intelligent Platform Management Interface 2.0 (IPMI) port can be found on the rear of the system which provides access to the AST2500 onboard chipset. Both remote and in-person management options are available in the case of fan failures, temperature increases, or poor server health.
The Tyan Transport HX TS75AB8252 B8252T75AV18E8HR-8X-2T Server features dual 2nd or 3rd Generation AMD EPYC processors. Each processor supports 16 DIMM slots for a total of 32 on the system. 18x external hot-swappable SFF HDD/SSD drive bays can be found on the front of the system with an additional 8x NVMe drive bays. This is a highly flexible system that can be used for high-performance computing plus for use in VDI and graphics intensive analytic workloads that may require GPUs.
