The Tyan Transport HX TS75AB8252 B8252T75AV26HR-2T Server features 26x hot-swappable external 2.5-inch drive bays on the front of the chassis. Much like the other two systems in the TS75AB8252 family, two 2nd or 3rd generation AMD EPYC processors can be installed on this system. Each processor supports 16 DIMM slots for a total of 32 active DIMM slots. Tyan’s pre-installed riser cards provide extra expansion slots with 4x PCIe Gen4 x16 slots and 1x PCIe Gen4 x8 slot.
Outfitted with a 2U form factor, Tyan has engineered the Tyan Transport HX TS75AB8252 B8252T75AV26HR-2T Server for general purpose GPU (GPGPU) acceleration and High-Performance Computing (HPC) at an affordable price point. Compatible with AMD’s new 3rd generation EPYC processor (MILAN), and the previous generation ROME processor, a maximum of two can be installed on this system. Each socket supports 16 DIMM slots, for a total of 32 memory modules with both processors installed.

This platform supports a dual socket configuration compatible with 2nd or 3rd generation AMD EPYC processors. The maximum Thermal Design Power wattage on the Tyan B8252T75AV26HR-2T Server is 240W. Each processor supports 16x DDR4 DIMM slots. To power the system a redundant power supply configuration is present on this system, featuring two 80-plus Platinum power supplies.
With 16 DIMM slots per processor, there are a total of 32 slots on the system motherboard. Compatible memory modules supported on this system include DDR4 ECC Registered DIMMs, 3DS Registered DIMMs, Load Reduced DIMMs, and 3DS Load Reduced DIMMs. The maximum memory capacity on this system is listed at 8TB using RDIMM memory modules.
With Tyan’s pre-installed Riser card 4x PCIe Gen 4 x16 slots and 1x PCIE Gen 4 x8 slot can have GPUs installed for graphical tasks. There is also a specialized PCIe Gen 4 x16 OCP v3.0 LAN mezzanine slot for added additional networking LAN ports without sacrificing your other PCI express lanes. The front and back of the system both have 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports. Supported GPUs include the Nvidia T4 and RTX 6000.
Tyan has provided a 1 GbE port on the back of the Tyan TS75AB8252 B8252T75AV26HR-2T Server dedicated for server management through the Intelligent Platform Management Interface. LEDs on the front of the system give a quick status update for things like system temperature and network connectivity. This system is also Redfish API compatible.
The Tyan Transport HX TS75AB8252 B8252T75AV26HR-2T Server is a flexible 2U system for high performance computing and analytics task that might require GPU enhanced graphics or for distributed environments. With 26 drive bays on the front of the system, and two optional M.2 devices, storage capacity is not lacking. Tyan’s new 3rd generation AMD EPYC processors and 2nd generation series are compatible with this system enabling PCIe 4.0 compatibility and greater throughput.
